Born in 1946, a self-taught artist, who backpack travelled to over 30 countries in the 70s (1972 to 1975). Thereafter he travelled over the years to Thailand, Burma, Nepal, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Korea, China, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, England, Taiwan and United States that continue to inspire him in his artistic journey. He Held 11 solo exhibitions and participated in numerous joint exhibition in Malaysia and overseas since 1963.
In Year 2001, he moved to the historical town of Malacca, and established Tham Siew Inn Artist Gallery, exhibiting his artworks and sharing his artistic thought & philosophy with the visiting public, the gallery expanded to adjoining building after 10 years.
